The Greater Birmingham region is bursting with interesting objects and artifacts that are often overlooked. Tell us about your favorite Local Treasure and help local residents and visitors appreciate all that our community has to offer. To submit your favorite Local Treasure, fill out the form below and attach a jpeg image (required). The Cultural Alliance will add a couple of new Local Treasure entries each week.

Criteria for Local Treasure

Object/artifact must be located in/at a museum, cultural attraction, public park, or historic site within a 60-mile radius of Birmingham.
The location must be open to the general public on some regular basis with or without an admission fee. Schools or locations that require special access are not appropriate for this feature.
Object/artifact must on permanent or long-term display.
